Noise Singapore – the foremost youth arts festival in the nation – is partnering the Singapore Arts Festival to come up with an innovative logo to brand the SFO. The Arts Festival’s resident orchestra was specially set up for new expressions of orchestral performances in the Singapore Arts Festival and has played to the delight of a new generation of music lovers. This partnership with Noise Singapore is aimed at attracting the best creative talents in town to come up with a barrage of creative designs and ideas! Starting today, Noise Singapore is inviting established and aspiring designers and artists to come up with original designs for the logo, embodying the spirit of an orchestra which celebrates innovative expressions of music and young musical talents with a strong sense of adventure and adaptability. The winner of the competition will be awarded a cash prize of S$2,500 as well as a chance to work with the Singapore Arts Festival to achieve the final design for use by the orchestra. Two other cash prizes of S$400 each will be presented to merit entries. The competition will close on 30 November 2008.
