Refinery Concepts is seeking sketches, drawings and material suggestions for functional but funky uniforms for both female and male servers working in a restaurant, offering a menu of both traditional and inventive Japanese food. The establishment seeks to become a popular, attractive eatery, which easily transforms into a buzzing nightspot and has an “edgy street meets chic” and “old meets new” Japanese theme.
The space bears images centralizing on the idea of skin art -and incorporating conventional tattoo art with Japanese culture. The front-of-house-staff will be young and active- requiring attention-grabbing attire, while not reducing their operative skills (eg no long hanging tassels, very long pants, large hats, very thick or flammable materials).
