Dotted Line Consultancy is seeking an experienced and resourceful individual to join as Senior Writer. Comprising former journalists and experienced editors, Dotted Line has been the editorial consultant for government ministries, statutory boards and private companies. It undertakes the full spectrum of editorial work, from conceptualisation and project management to interviews, writing and editing.
Dotted Line Consultancy is the editorial consultancy arm of Splash Productions Pte Ltd. Splash is a design and communications agency with a 14-strong team. Its creative professionals, skilled in different disciplines, offer clients a full range of communications support in the following areas: campaign management; identity and branding; graphic, interactive and environmental design; copywriting and editorial; and production supervision. Splash’s clientele extends across various industries and includes public-listed companies, small and medium enterprises, multinational corporations and government bodies.
Responsibilities:
- Write features, conduct interviews, report on events
- Initiate and develop story ideas
- Assign, supervise and edit freelance writers’ work
- Copyedit and proofread
- Project-manage various editorial projects, including newsletters, magazines and books
- Conceptualise and write copy for corporate communications collaterals
Requirements:
- Degree in journalism, communications or English
- At least 3 years’ experience in writing/journalism/publishing
- Excellent writing and editing skills and command of the English Language
- Strong organisational skills and project-management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Candidates should be willing to take a writing/editing test.
