Ink, the world’s largest publisher of Inflight magazines, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Photo Editor to join the Singapore office. Your primary focus will be to oversee the imagery, ensuring they maintain the highest award-winning standards.

You should have at least three years relevant editorial experience in contract and/or newsstand titles.

We are looking for:

At least three year’sexperience working in magazine publishing or at a photo library/agency
Proven interest and qualification in photography
Working knowledge of Asia-Pacific and the cultural sensitivities
Strong organisation ability
Good negotiation and communication skills

As Senior Picture Editor:

Responsibilities would include the following:

Image research from a wide range of sources; to provide relevant images for editorial features, marketing materials, advertorials, media packs, etc.

Clear outline of picture costs for all of your magazines before going to press and keeping within budget.

Oversee maintenance of in-house image library

Oversee creation/maintenance of a central database of photographers and photographic production such as stylists and make-up artists and ensure this is visible on the central ftp for other offices

Responsible for picture desk budgeting, expense sign off and invoice queries.

Responsible for negotiating the lowest rates with image libraries and maintaining relationships with these libraries.

Organisation of any Singapore photo shoots required by overseas offices.

Ensuring a fair share of all aspects of the picture editing jobs is distributed across the picture desk such as trips and helping art direct shoots.
