CAREERS IN GRAPHIC DESIGN
Graphic Designers are responsible for creating brand specific artwork and interpreting current trends into AVE 23’ handwriting. Through trend/vintage shopping, marketing and internet research, Graphic Designers develop seasonal graphic concepts for a wide range of apparel categories. After a concept is initialized, AVE 23 graphic designers will work with the Research and Development team in our Innovation and Design Center to develop cutting edge print, applique, and embroidery techniques. Collaboration is extremely important in order to achieve the best results in Graphic Design at AVE 23. Graphic Designers partner with Design and Merchandising to put the most trend-right products into our sales.
The AVE 23 designer’s role is to manage the design and development process from concept through production. Some primary responsibilities include trend forecasting and competitive shopping, creating inspiration boards, and working with overseas factories and vendors. The team dynamic is extremely collaborative working together to keep the product fresh and ahead of the competition. Designers at AVE 23 are highly creative, passionate about the brand and customer, have a great sense of style, strong eye for trend and color, and possess strong communication and organization skills.
CAREERS IN SOURCING
The sourcing organization at AVE 23 has assembled some of the most sought after technical talent in the retail industry allowing us to be a leader in innovation, research, and product development. Sourcing (garment/fabric supply chain management), the Innovation & Design Center, Technical Design, and Quality Assurance are all a part of AVE 23’ Sourcing Organization. We are seeking bright and entrepreneurial students from a wide range of technical apparel backgrounds to begin their careers at our Home Office.
SOURCING
Associates in Sourcing focus on helping to create and maintain the factory and mill base for the company. Interaction occurs with many aspects of the business, both internal and external with opportunities to gain exciting international exposure. Creating and maintaining fabric and garment cost matrix, communicating with domestic and international vendors, tracking fabric information, and working closely with design and merchandising on issues relating to fabric construction, wash development and garment sourcing are just some of the responsibilities.
CAREERS IN SCREEN PRINTING
Screen Printers at AVE 23 are responsible for
- Operating screen printing machine and working on apparel
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Understand the paste blending process
- Trouble shooting and Diagnostics
- Must be able to read drawings, measure thickness of prints, viscosity of inks, etc.
- Must be able to read and follow instructions completely to make sure proper inks, artworks, profiles and materials are being used
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Experience as a screen printer and basic understanding of thick film printing process or experience working as a Quality Inspector
- Must have close attention to detail and strong communication skills

- Must have some flexibility in your schedule as some jobs may require working late or on weekends.

IT is fundamental to designing, sourcing, developing, and delivering fashion forward merchandise to our customers. IT responsibilities include building upon problem solving skills in support of our aggressive store and brand expansion, honing software development skills, assisting corporate partners in applying technology to tackle business problems, and learning new technologies and their application to real world situations.
