WEB DESIGNER
(Kaki Bukit)
Responsibilities:
You will be required to coordinate the workflow and maintain the efficiency of the company’s website as well as conceptualisation and execution of special online projects. These will normally be in support of seasonal marketing campaigns, book launches, and promotional events. There will also be opportunities to work with the in-house editorial and print design team on various projects from time to time.
Requirements:
- A Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Digital Design, Interaction Design, Multimedia Art, or a related discipline
- Relevant experience in the design industry with a strong portfolio
- Familiarity in working with web languages: HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, etc.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- An interest in books, printed matter and other modes of visual communication beyond digital and interaction design
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking and organization skills
- Able to deliver high quality work under demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment and with minimal supervision
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates)
- Able to start work at short notice
Remuneration will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.
