Flok is on the hunt for an experienced all-rounder interactive developer who is a natural born coder that possesses the ability to create beautiful, impactful experiences on any digital platform.
Flok is a creative digital studio. We focus on social media marketing and applications, mobile applications and interactive installations. Based in Singapore with an office in Sydney, Australia, Flok is expanding quickly and looking for awesome talent to join us. Our projects range from Global, APAC regional and local markets, for major B2C brands, products and services.
The ideal candidate is independent, highly adaptable to new programming languages and technologies, able to learn without being taught and lastly, able to communicate, work and play well with the team.
Must haves:
- At least 5 years’ experience producing immersive web experiences using Flash for creative/advertising agencies or similar.
- Expert in ActionScript 2/3 coding with common design patterns
- Intermediate / Expert in standards compliant HTML/CSS/JavaScript and JavaScript libraries like JQuery.
- Understand HTML5
- Interest in OOH digital experiences and have dabbled with technologies like OpenFrameworks, Processing, Cinder, Kinect etc.
- Basic backend and database knowledge (PHP / .NET, MySQL)
- Experience in:
- developing for the Facebook platform
- interactive video manipulation
- streaming and recording videos with Flash Media Server
- webcams manipulation
- interacting with RESTful APIs, including file upload
- working with and leading a small team
- using version control software
- using Photoshop to break out assets for Flash builds
- producing pixel accurate work
- being part of creative brainstorming teams to help crack challenging briefs - Good understanding of web and mobile standards
- On the pulse of technology trends
- Good understanding of various social media policies and API functionalities
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial and ambitious
- Enthusiastic about your work
Great to have:
- Game development experience

- Experience in AR and 3D Flash experiences
- WebGL
- Projection Mapping
